Moved operations across to new offices with minimal disruption to staff and no impact on clients
Seraphim Capital is a venture fund that has invested in a diverse range of UK companies across different stages and sectors. It needed to move its operations to a new office in Mayfair over a weekend with minimal disruption.
Our PRINCE2 qualified project managers engaged with management and other service providers to develop a detailed project plan at the outset, with key milestones and clearly defined targets.
We co-ordinated the move to ensure that business continuity was maintained at all times. We handled everything from the structured cabling and high-speed internet connections through to desktops and AV equipment. Business data was available at all times and we kept staff aware of what we were doing to minimise any impact on their productivity.
Access Europe Network
Migrated to Microsoft Office 365 using a hybrid cloud solution with single sign-on
Access Europe Network helps London boroughs and voluntary and community organisations explore and secure European grant funding through its website, seminars and workshops. It needed to undertake a migration from a fully on-premises IT platform to the cloud in order to reduce cost and complexity.
After discussions with the team and a comprehensive review of their existing platform, we identified the Microsoft Office 365 Business Premium plan as offering the ideal mix of features and value for money.
We synchronised the local environment to Microsoft Azure before initiating a non-destructive and phased migration of all emails and calendars. We enabled single sign on and password synchronisation to reduce the impact of the change on staff productivity.
Following the migration, we provided a package of support services to allow management and staff to dedicate their time and effort to ensuring the success of the organisation without distraction.
YFM Equity Partners
Migrated to Microsoft Office 365 and introduced a new corporate intranet using SharePoint Online
YFM Equity Partners manages funds specialising in transforming small and fast-growing UK companies and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). GLE Connect delivered a combined domain migration and intranet development project using Microsoft Office 365 with SharePoint Online.
We met with the senior management team to discuss a migration from the existing on-premises IT platform to a hybrid solution with local file/print servers in each office and all messaging and collaboration services delivered from the cloud. After careful consideration of the many products in the market, we identified the Microsoft Office 365 E3 plan as offering the ideal mix of features and meeting the requirements of FCA compliance.
We synchronised the local environment to Microsoft Azure Active Directory before undertaking a phased migration of all user and shared mailboxes with litigation enabled to ensure FCA compliance at all times.
Finally, we delivered a new corporate intranet using SharePoint Online to allow staff to gather information, share documents more effectively (with check-in/check-out and version control) and streamline internal processes.
